Learn the ABC's of Safety!

a
Your parents always know where you are and who you're with. They know the full names and addresses of all your friends and you always ask for permission before going somewhere.
b
You never talk to strangers or go near their cars, even if they ask for help. Just because someone knows your name or sees you every day doesn't mean that they aren't a stranger.
c
You always use the buddy system when playing or going from place to place. If you ever change your plans you always tell your parents or another trusted adult.
d
You don't keep secrets from your parents, even if another adult has asked you to. If something happens to you that makes you feel uncomfortable, you are not afraid to tell.
e
You have permission from your parents to say "NO" to an adult. You can be respectful but you don't have to do things that frighten, hurt or embarrass you.
f
You know your parents' full names. You have memorized my street address, phone number, and area code. You know how to use a pay phone and can make a collect call in an emergency.
